Jerry and Joan Burner have been married since 1982. They met while attending Virginia Tech. Jerry graduated in 1981 with a degree in Animal Science. Joan also graduated in 1981 and has a degree in Psychology and Education. Jerry was born and raised on the family farm, Trio Farms, Inc. and has farmed fulltime since graduating from college in 1981. Joan is the farm bookkeeper and works fulltime as a middle school math teacher in the public school system. The Hokie tradition continues with our three children. Jared graduated from Virginia Tech with degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural and Applied Economics. He completed his Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics in 2009. Twins Jonathan and Rachel also graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009. Jared currently works fulltime on the farm with Jerry and manages the meat company. Jonathan received dual degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural and Applied Economics. He is a student at the Veterinary School at the Virginia-Maryland College of Vet Medicine. Rachel earned her degree in Agricultural Economics and is a Team Leader with Tractor Supply Company. Skyline Premium Meats provides the family time to work together and promote their beef products and the agricultural industry.

Ron and Sue Burleson own and operate Burleson Enterprises, Inc., located in Unionville which is the central part of Orange County. It is a much diversified farming business. In addition to raising beef cattle and being very active in Skyline Premium Meats; rabbits and a wholesale greenhouse operation are a part of the farm. We are 100% Hokies. Ron having a degree in Animal Science and Sue's in Agricultural Economics. Sarah and Tommy are currently students at Virginia Tech. They are active in the agriculture community of students through thier majors and club involvement. Our family has a life long dedication to agriculture. We enjoy bringing a small glimpse of our lifestyle and values to the folks we serve in all aspects of our business.
